I’m pleased to announce we have the latest Windows Azure Training Kit available for download. If you want to get started on the Windows Azure platform, the training kit is a great resource check out the videos and hands on labs to get you going.
If you want to do your own presentations for your company or user group, you will also find some presentations and demo/walkthroughs that you can use straight from the “box” or customize to suit your needs.

In the ServiceConfiguration.cscfg file, you have a DiagnosticsConnectionString which as a default is linked to local storage. <Setting name="DiagnosticsConnectionString" value="UseDevelopmentStorage=true" /> When you deploy your package it will never start correctly (stuck in Busy/Initializing), because you could will be trying to log to the local storage, which doesn’t exist in the cloud. Tried setting up first lab, but got this.
Failed to confiure Windows Azure Platform Kit – Introduction to Winows Azure
The automatic set up can not proceed. The lab your are trying to set up
has not been tested in your environment, and some features may not work
as expected.
You can configure your enviroment manually installing the prerequisites
shown in the lab’s overview.
