There are actually 2 types of queues. There are windows Azure queues – which provide a simple queuing mechanism for interrole communication, and there is also a service bus, as part of .net services – which can be used for this type of communication too.

Just wondering why Microsoft hasn’t provided any queuing services as part of Azure Platform. Are they reling on Databases only for intra process communication. How can Azure applications scale up without messaging services.
