Azure Services Training Kit Feb 2009 Update
I’m pleased to announce we have completed the latest revision of the Azure Services Platform training kit. You can find the training kit here.
The Azure Services Training Kit includes a comprehensive set of technical content including hands-on labs, presentations, and demos that are designed to help you learn how to use the Azure Services Platform.
The February release includes the following updates:
- 19 demo scripts that walkthrough several of the services
- 10 presentations covering the entire Azure Services Platform
- 3 additional hands-on labs for Live Services
This technical content covers services including:
- Windows Azure
- .NET Services
- SQL Services
- Live Services

Hi David, you guys are doing great with the learning content and product in general.
Could you do me a favour and explain which features of the kit I would be interested in if I had already been through the last version end-to-end? And are the presentations the same as the ones from PDC or new altogether?

Thanks for your feedback.
It really depends upon which technologies you are interested in. Live Services has new labs, but the other labs remain the same, apart from some bug fixes.
The presentations are not the same as PDC. They are from a training program we have, although they do cover the same material.
As well as the PPTs, there are scripted demos/walkthroughs – which are useful if you have to demo things to your team/management etc.
Not sure if this helps any, but a question back if I may. What would you like to see added to the kit in the next release?
